Looks like Colorado Springs will get to keep USOC, an article from The Gazette, reports that it appears likely the U.S. Olympic Committee will keep its headquarters in Colorado Springs.  A special council meeting will be held today by the City Council to consider a $53 million incentives package that would provide the USOC and several Olympic-related amateur sports groups with new offices in downtown Colorado Springs, while funding major upgrades to the Olympic Training Center in the heart of town, according to city officials.  Mayor Lionel Rivera said, "The USOC has asked us to move forward and finalize our offer.  It's not an official offer until we vote on it and send it to them."

Foreclosed Owners Paid to Leave, an article from Realtor.org, reports that according to a recent survey of real estate professionals by Campbell Communications, a marketing and research firm, nearly half of foreclosed properties are trashed by homeowners on their way out.  The banks find it's not worth the cost and trouble to pursue charges against the destructive homeowners.  Instead, many are trying to prevent home rage by giving the real estate professionals who take on the sales listing authorization to offer somewhere between $300 and $1,000 to occupants to get them to leave the property intact and clean.
