Talk to neighbors, developer told, an article from The Gazette, reports that the final decision on the new store at Citadel Crossing was delayed.  Colorado Springs City Council was just short of approving a new Lowe's store at Citadel Crossing center after a four-hour hearing stretched past 9:30 on Tuesday night.  The council told the developer to meet with neighbors to outline the latest proposal, postponing the vote for two more weeks with a final decision to come on October 23.  The purpose of the meeting would be to discuss changes that could be made to address opponents' concerns and reduce the impact the store might have on the neighborhood.
