Talk to neighbors, developer
told,
an article from
The Gazette,
reports that the final
decision on the new store at
Citadel Crossing was
delayed. Colorado Springs
City Council was just short
of approving a new Lowe's
store at Citadel Crossing
center after a four-hour
hearing stretched past 9:30
on Tuesday night. The
council told the developer
to meet with neighbors to
outline the latest proposal,
postponing the vote for two
more weeks with a final
decision to come on October
23. The purpose of the
meeting would be to discuss
changes that could be made
to address opponents'
concerns and reduce the
impact the store might have
on the neighborhood.

Survey Shows Real Estate is
Still Most Popular
Investment Choice,
an article from RISMedia.com,
reports that Guidant
Financial Group, a leading
provider of self-directed
IRA services, conducted a
survey recently that
provided data on
self-directed investment
trends. The survey was
completed by nearly 1000
self-directed IRA holders
and individuals seeking IRAs
across the country.
Guidant's survey results
reveal that investors still
consider real estate as
their top investment option,
despite the condition of the
housing market. Almost 65%
of respondents cited
investment property as an
option they are considering
for their retirement
savings.
